Prewash applications

Tammermatic is a forerunner in developing prewash technology. Prewash chemical is commonly used especially in harsh Nordic conditions to degrease the combination of asphalt loosened by spike tyres, salt and soil from the vehicle surface before actual wash operations. Other minor purposes are to keep the brushes clean and give customer an extra value for money.

Tammermatic UltraLux and UltraJet applies prewash chemical with optimized pressure to maximize the degreasing effect. The profiling rotary head applies the prewash chemical on all the horizontal surfaces, also the front and rear vehicle gets a full coverage of prewash chemical.

The pivoting side spray banks gives the prewash chemical on vertical surfaces. When the van nozzles are used, the whole vehicle can be sprayed with prewash chemical in one operation. Tammermatic Ultra sprays the prewash chemical with the pivoting side spray banks.

Prewash Foam gives a soft feeling of a wash process and intensifies the action of prewash chemical. The foam is to be used as an additional prewash chemical through the year and especially on harsh washing seasons.

Special Prewash Applications

Special applications give extra amount of chemical and action time for demanding surfaces.

Drive-in Prewash

Drive-in prewash system gives automatically an extra-chemical and more action time to the lower sides of the vehicle when vehicle is driving in the wash hall. The drive-in system is suitable for every card operated Tammermatic carwash machine.

Rim Prewash

The special aluminium rims are hard element to keep good looking threw the year. The carwash machine gives an extra amount of special chemical directly to the rims before actual wheel wash operation.

Insect Prewash

The sun burns the flying insects especially to the front side of the car. Insect prewash chemical gives an extra amount of special chemical to dissolve the insect residues off.

Manual Prewash

Outside the full-automatic carwash, manual prewash is normally operated with manual high-pressure units. An other case of manual prewash is applications in full-manual self-service plants and hobby-halls. The prewash chemical will be added to the high-pressure water through a pre-dilution unit.
